An Opportunity for Collective Impact

By Giving List Staff   |   May 12, 2022

At The Fund for Santa Barbara, our mission is to advance progressive change by strengthening movements for Economic, Environmental, Political, Racial, and Social Justice. To achieve this mission, we need your help. Unlike other foundations, we raise our own money to support our annual budget, which means our work is largely made possible by individual donors committed to bolstering progressive change across the Central Coast. Last year, we counted on more than 500 individual donors, and today – we are asking you to build on that number by signing on to our monthly giving program. Imagine what we can do together.

When you sign-up for monthly giving, you are enabling us to expand on our ability to build the capacity of organizations at the forefront of addressing inequity in Santa Barbara County. Whether enough to help offset sliding scale workshop fees, or enough to cover a small grant, every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a difference. Now through May 31st, regardless of giving capacity, individuals who enroll in monthly giving will receive an appreciation gift of:

  • A Unisex FUND T-shirt
  • A reusable stainless steel FUND cup
  • A FUND Sticker

*Gifts will be distributed at a yet to be determined date in June/July 2022.

We understand that solidarity takes many forms, but we ask those that can give, to give. Our vision for a just, sustainable, and equitable Central Coast requires the active participation of community members with a shared hope for a better future. It is up to us to create and sustain the institutions that will support a region we can be proud of. Achieving transformative social change requires us to join forces to build a movement. We hope we can count on your support!
