Learn about how the cosmetics and personal care products industry contributes to the global plastics crisis as well as some sustainable, zero-waste alternatives. And be sure to check out the recent report on Good Morning America (GMA3) “Creating ‘Zero-Waste Face’ in Your Beauty Routine,” featuring PPC member C & The Moon and Co-Founder & Managing Director, Julia Cohen.

Mission
Plastic Pollution Coalition is a growing global alliance of more than 1,200 organizations, businesses, and thought leaders in 75 countries working toward a world free of plastic pollution and its toxic impact on humans, animals, waterways, the ocean, and the environment.
Begin to Build a Relationship
We know you care about where your money goes and how it is used. Connect with this organization’s leadership in order to begin to build this important relationship. Your email will be sent directly to this organization’s director of development and/or Executive Director.
Plastic Pollution Coalition has made a very large impact in a relatively short amount of time, overcoming huge obstacles including governments, legal systems, and corporations, and has turned the tide on plastic pollution awareness. Working tirelessly at the local, national, and global levels to effect real change for environmental justice, PPC is eliminating the use of single-use plastic, and is a dedicated and effective beacon for our local communities.
Protect the Next Generation
Now, Plastic Pollution Coalition is launching a multi-year campaign to expose petrochemical industry-sponsored propaganda in schools. The organization is pushing for trusted, science-based alternatives – and critical thinking for students and teachers to recognize bias.
Plastic Pollution Coalition is seeking $800,000 to expand this initiative. Funding will encompass research, educator training, curriculum development, teacher and youth ambassador programs, and support community partnerships that will empower schools with independent, evidence-based resources for a healthier next generation.
